So it’s less than two weeks to Ignite Meetup (a monthly business networking event I co-facilitate with a friend)

And less than a month to WordPress Mastery (a 3-day intensive training on how to design websites without writing a line of code)

Talk of work, work, work, work, work, work.

So this week, I’ve decided to do only those things that are important and meaningful to my life and business.

I’ve left lots of Whatsapp and Facebook groups that were stealing away my time with unnecessary messages and chat.

It’s not that I have a problem with anyone or the admin of those groups.

I just thought that, “well, I’m done here”

I’ve started saying NO to opportunities that don’t take me closer to my goals.

I just regret accepting a job that’s wasting my time and energy. I said YES too fast and now I wish I never did.

I’m focusing more on giving value and serving humanity with my gift.

I’ve also decided to talk less and do more.

Like they say, “action speaks louder than words”. I want my actions to speak now.

Oh that doesn’t ean that I won’t be keeing you updated with what is happening in my life and business. I’ll do that but I’ll share those ones that a very important.

In all, I want to manage my time effectively and increase my overall productivity.

I’ve realized that if you don’t take charge of your life and choose to do only those things that matter there’ll always be lots oof distractions.

There will always be something irrelevant to fix.

The year is coming to an end and I’ve set some crazy goals to crush.

So I’ll be focusing my energy on things that matter and take me closer to my goals.

I know it’s easier said than done but it starts with simply saying NO to things that do not really mean anything to you.

It could mean, saying NO to low paying clients or some time-consuming projects.

You alone know what’s important to you.

You should start by writing five things that are most important to you in life and business.

Place them in order of importance.

Now, if any opportunity that does not in anyway help you achieve any of those things you wrote down, you simply decline and say NO.

Doing less should also include, checking your Facebook, Whatsapp and email less.

Don’t waste your precious time trying to be a social media celebrity.

Say what you have to say and do what you have to do and go do something more meaningful.

According to a study by Mediakix, “The average person will spend more than five years of their lives on social media

Isn’t that scary?

Five good years.

I’m not saying using the social media is evil.

In fact, you can learn How To Use The Social Media To Build Your Online Business At Zero Cost

What I’m saying is that, you should know why you’re on the social media and do what took you there.

What’s your new week resolution?
